Poor Henry is in the vets today for a teeth clean. He has a lot of tatar build up and some gingivitis. The big lad was a bit frightened so I held him while he got his preop needles.
Henry is three and a bit. British shorthairs can have a tendancy to get dental disease. It is always good to get the vet to check them every year when you do vaccs. Henry had a bit of drool every now and again so that is what told me he needed a mouth check. Other signs are dropping food or reduced appetite.
So hopefully he just needs a clean and some antibiotics to get his smile back.
