Welcome to my blog. Here you can read about the day to day comings and goings of our cats and kittens. We breed happy and healthy British Shorthairs and enjoy going to cat shows with them. It is a fun and rewarding hobby.

This is what happens if you leave a towel on the floor
Kittens love to sleep on anything you leave on the floor. This towel was covering Teddy's box in the car after the show. I dropped it on the floor putting him away and came back to find Georgia having a sleep!

A terracotta pillow?
This little girl has an unusual sense of what is cushy and what isn't. She is using a terracotta pot as a pillow. I had to move it as she was pushing it close to the edge of the bar. It was a gift from Damien's sister and I didn't want it broken no matter how cosy she thinks it is.

Henry's sister has arrived!
Henry is our fawn and white boy from the UK. My friend Kay has a new import who has also made the trip from Dee at Catbalu in the UK. Turns out it is Henry's sister. Same daddy, different mum. Mum is a Selkirk Rex so Henry's sister is a curly version of him. She is a fawn and white too. They have the same build and head shape. I wonder if she will be huge too!!
Our Henry, Cindy and Candy are all from Catbalu.

38th ACF National Cat Show
Sunday 13th of June at the Belmont Oasis Centre in WA
The show website is up and the schedule is ready to download. We have a really stunning judging lineup, a great venue and a fabulous team of hard working volunteers ready to do what they can to make the event special.
Here is the site

And yes, I have taken crazy pills and will be behind the admin table for this show two. Three nationals in a row. That has to be some kind of record? I feel tired (but excited) just thinking about it. Damien just feels tired!

Calling girls
Seems like Candy, Cindy, Rosie and Suzy have all decided they would like a boyfriend. I have tried to tell them not till after the big show but they don't seem to care. Lots of rolling and meowing going on.

Oh my goodness!
I went to the website of Darcy's owner in Wales. He is the blue boy we sent over to be a stud cat for Amanda at Blueridgecats. I was going to snaffle a picture or two and instead I found she has put up a whole page about his story and how he was hear with us then flew over to her. I read it and had a good cry as it was so touching.
