Welcome to my blog. Here you can read about the day to day comings and goings of our cats and kittens. We breed happy and healthy British Shorthairs and enjoy going to cat shows with them. It is a fun and rewarding hobby.

Operation Kitty Rescue - One down!
I think we have a home for one of the kitty cats. Cross your fingers!! It is a lady who heard about them on facebook. Yay!
Operation Kitty Rescue - The boys feel right at home
Here is Blackie checking out his new run. He is such a sweet boy. He is very dirty and yellow up his legs so I dont think he has been kept in a clean run. He seems pretty healthy and just a good diet and some love away from being a really special young man.

And here is Creamy. He is a total dreamboat. I am certain he will get a new home super quickly as he is just so pretty. Excuse the tape on the box. It is the one my girls have babbies in and I tape a bit of plastic over the hole so the teeny babies cant get out. I take it away when they are old enough hence the tape!!

Operation Kitty Rescue - How you can help
Can you help by adopting or fostering one of the 20 cats? Please email me at cuddleton@optiic.com if you can. SAFE Bunbury would also love donations. I will post the account info soon so you can help financially as many of the cats require vet care.
Operation Kitty Rescue - Shelter for the boys
The two boys are going in our side run. It is netting and was only meant to be for playtime not as a permanant cat home. So we needed a shelter for them. While I collected the cats Damien put together a shelter made from some spare sheets of roofing that we had.

The boys look on in the carriers.

It's taking shape. Not long now Creamy and Blackie (yes I called the black bicolour blackie, creative or what!! I love it).

The finished shelter.

Two big plastic boxes with holes in the side as beds and a litter tray and water. I put mats down after this photo. Rough and ready but better than what they had been kept in. They have lots of space to run and play.

Operation Kitty Rescue - Creamy in the car
This is one of the boys. I have called him Creamy. He is sooooooo adorable!!!! Too pretty to be a boy but he definately has some big "bits" for the vet to attend to. I think he is about nine months to a year old.
And yes, I have a signed statement as to who dumped the cats and how many plus the condition of them. I dont want to see these people breeding more cats and giving the rest of us a bad name any further.

Operation Kitty Rescue - The girls settle in
This is the most friendly kitty. She is a blue tabby tortie and white British Shorthair. We think she is desexed. We gave her a cute name but I have forgotton it!! She would make a really great pet as she is really affectionate. She just needs a safe home.

This kitty is called Sugar. She is a young girl and is a bit scared but friendly when you pat her so once she settles she will be a great potential pet. She is skinny and will need a bit of TLC. Once she is desexed she will blossom.
And this is scared little Sweetie Pie. She is small and soooo cute. I think she is quite young but I am not sure. She needs some time to shine. I think her poor diet and possibly sore mouth have made her an unhappy girl. She will come good. I just know it.

Oh and this is how comfortable they are now they have some space.
