We have babies

Our first litter of the season has been born. Candy and Rickie have given us two black males, two lilac males and a choc girl.

She is such a great mummy cat.

Here is Jocey being her cute self.  She has toe caps on too like Millie.  Hers are black.

Big chumpy Millie is out on the balcony modelling her pink toes.  Her mummy puts the little caps on to protect the furniture (plus it looks cute!)

A choccy and a lilac

Here is a quick lesson in colour genetics. Lilac and chocolate cats are both genetically chocolate cats. The lilac cats have two copies of a gene that dilutes their colour so they come out sort of warm milo coloured.
Here is our chocolate girl with our lilac girl.

Which toy today?

Schmitty gets a new toy out of the toy basket all by himself when he wants to play. Here he is deciding which to get today.
He is a cinnamon and white British Shorthair.

Cute Millie and Jocey in beds

I could not believe my eyes when I saw these two cuddle bunnies tucked up in beds together.  They are always on Mandy and Clay's bed so I was suprised they were sleeping in their own ones LOL

Millie is the big blue girl and Jocey the blue and white poppet.

Wasn't this for me?

Damien cleared a shelf on his computer bookshelf for me to put some of my books. The cats are not usually allowed in this room. I was gone one minute getting some books and now the shelf is full!! Twinky is very pleased with the new sleepy spot daddy made her......

Two fat ladies

Rosie and Candy have about three weeks till they have bubbies. They are fatties! The washing machine is only just big enough for thier bulk lol.

Christa has the same little blue scratcher as we do. Her Georgie girl loves it!! They were from deals direct.

GO DARCY

Amanda rang last night and our beautiful boy Darcy is still top of The International Cat Club standings for the British Shorthair adults.  I am super proud of him.  His results are here

And he is in the top 50 cats for TICA around the world.  He is number 48 so just squeaked in.

I took screenshots of the standings.  He may be overtaken as more show results come in over the year but I know that, even just for a bit, I bred the best adult BSH in TICA.

My friend Suz sent me this pic of a ragdoll she bred.  It has been painted by the kitty's owner who does pet portraits.  I thought it was really nice.

Henry is getting a check up

We are at the vets with Henry today. He had a sore in his mouth last visit so we are here to make sure it has healed.
